WRC cancels Rally Chile amid political unrest

The fourth-round of the 2020 World Rally Championship, Rally Chile, has been cancelled amid ongoing political unrest in the South American country. The event, based in Concepción and held throughout the Biobio region of Chile, only joined the WRC calendar this year with Ott Tanak claiming the victory. However the country has seen riots and a state of emergency put in place following a government decision to raise prices on the capital's Metro system. Although Rally Chile isn't set to take place until April, the decision has been taken to cancel it as the government doesn't want to be accused of using vital public funds to host a motorsport...
